Our Veterinarians
Dr. Mika Ford
For over 20 years, Dr. Ford has provided veterinary care guided by a simple but powerful principle: treat others the way you want to be treated. He’s committed to integrity, compassion, and accountability. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, he strives to build lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ford races cars, drives trucks, hunts and fishes, and enjoys quality family time.
Dr. Randal Burris
With 40 years of veterinary experience, Dr. Burris is proud to serve as “the neighborhood vet,” offering care that’s deeply rooted in the community. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, he brings a personal touch to every appointment, viewing each patient and client as part of the extended family. In his free time, he enjoys reading, fishing, translating medieval Latin texts, traveling, and spending time with his children and grandson. Dr. Burris is also active in his church and is a member of the Secular Franciscan Order.
Dr. Brandy Germany-Smith
Dr. Smith is driven by a deep respect for the human-animal bond. With 11 years of experience and a DVM from Oklahoma State University, she approaches each patient with empathy and dedication. Outside of work, she lives on a homestead with her husband and toddler, where they raise chickens and bees, tend a large garden, and enjoy a nature-centered lifestyle.
Dr. Paula Hardin
Dr. Hardin brings 36 years of compassionate experience to every pet she treats. Educated in Minnesota and North Dakota, she focuses on both immediate care and long-term wellness, partnering with clients to make the best decisions for their beloved companions. Her hobbies include gardening, reading, spending time with family, and caring for her horses.

Mikala Holiman, RVT
Mikala graduated from Tulsa Community College and excels at educating clients to help pets live their happiest, healthiest lives. With 7 years of experience, her compassionate approach makes her a vital part of the care team. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending quality time with her family.
Kelli Smallen, RVT
Kelli has been practicing for more than a year after graduating from Tulsa Community College. Her passion lies in advocating for patients and ensuring their comfort and care are always prioritized. She enjoys spending time with friends and being involved in her local church.
Kari Britton
Kari holds a degree in Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary focus from Oklahoma State University (2011). She has been with Broken Arrow Veterinary Hospital since 2019 and enjoys working on innovative ways to improve veterinary care.
Niki Fryer
With 5 years of experience and a background from Animal Behavior College, Niki treats every patient like her own. She enjoys outdoor adventures, hunting, fishing, and spending time with her son and dogs.
Daina Hopper, RVT
Daina has been a Registered Veterinary Technician for 11 years, having earned her credentials from Tulsa Community College. Her journey began in low-cost spay and neuter clinics, inspiring her to pursue formal training. Daina is passionate about giving her best to every patient. She enjoys camping, white water kayaking, road trips, and volunteering with local animal groups.
Sahar Alowaidh
Sahar has been a veterinary assistant since 2024 and holds a degree from Community Care College. She prides herself on compassionate patient care and clear communication with pet owners. Her hobbies include listening to music, playing the piano, and enjoying time with loved ones.
Taylor Latta
Taylor, a graduate of TCC and NSU, has been in the field for 4 years. She takes pride in giving her all and communicating clearly with pet owners. Taylor enjoys outdoor activities and quality time with her cat.
Sarah Hardin
Sarah has 8 years of experience and a degree from Fort Hays State University. She’s known for her empathetic, observant approach and builds strong bonds with pets and their owners. Outside of work, she enjoys kayaking, camping, board games, and spending time with her dog, Berto.
Claire Kirkpatrick
Claire brings 3 years of experience and training from Community Care College. She is dedicated to delivering comfort and excellent care to every patient. Her hobbies include fishing, shopping, and taking day trips with her mom.
Sydney Mullin
Sydney studied at Community Care College and has over 4 years of experience in the field. Her strengths lie in helping clients and pets feel at ease during difficult times. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, building Legos, reading, and spending time with her kittens.
